Brian Kim, a 1.5 generation Korean living in the United States, had initially dreamed of becoming a writer and attended the University of Texas. However, his life took a dramatic turn when he met a Korean student at university who inspired him to become a praise missionary.

This international student, who worked as an engineer at Samsung, a prominent company in Korea, left his successful job to serve God. Despite the challenges, he continued to do missionary work, even traveling over three hours round trip while studying abroad. Brian Kim was deeply moved by his dedication and decided to follow in his footsteps.

After graduating from college, Brian Kim moved to Korea and began his ministry of praise and worship. Although he faced numerous hardships, he overcame them through the miraculous grace of God and is now an active CCM singer in Korea.

As the representative of Soul Brothers Mission, Brian Kim has shared his powerful testimony on CBS TV’s Renew the Church and CTS TV’s I Am Joyful Every Day, inspiring countless Christians. Some of his notable songs include ‘The Lord is Working’, ‘The Lord is the Light’, and ‘Once Again’.
