Children love theme parks and role-playing, and Halloween is the perfect stage for them to showcase their creativity. This year, Hong Kong Disneyland has gathered a group of beloved story protagonists and villains, allowing kids to dress up as their favorite characters and interact with them.
Hong Kong Disneyland’s 5 Must-Do Halloween Activities
This Halloween, Hong Kong Disneyland has brought together iconic characters like Snow White and the Evil Queen from “Snow White and the Friends”, Princess Aurora or Prince Philip and Maleficent from “Sleeping Beauty”, and Princess Jasmine and Jafar from “Aladdin”. These characters will make surprise appearances throughout the park, allowing kids to play different roles and interact with them.
Two major Halloween performances are not to be missed. The annual Villain Mansion Ball has a new twist this year, featuring a fashion art installation and surprise looks. Cruella and four villains will perform the new original song “House of De Vil-lains” at the “Crazy” Fashionable Ball, while the highly acclaimed Halloween song and dance performance “Villains Dance Disney” will feature heavyweight Disney villains like Ursula the sea witch and Dr. Huo the wizard.
Pumpkin Head Mobile Fun Station for Candy
This year, the wicked stepmother Mrs. Duminy from “Cinderella” and her two daughters will join the “Mickey Halloween Fun Street Party”, parading with Mickey and friends on the giant pumpkin float. The latest interactive games will also be added, so be sure to dance to the beat.
Disney characters have donned new Halloween costumes, and there’s a Trick-or-Treat in the park where you can get a new candy bag and visit the Pumpkin Head Mobile Fun Station to ask for candy from the performers.
Disney Halloween Egg Hunt and Spooky Feast
Experience the Disney Halloween Egg Hunt ($60) after taking pictures with Mickey in the Halloween Fun Garden, and draw Disney friend keychain dolls inside the giant pumpkin. If you’re lucky, you might win the limited edition Winnie the Pooh. When you’re tired of playing, marvel at the spooky feast prepared by Jack, featuring new Halloween desserts and snacks in various food kiosks and restaurants.
