1. Acceptance of Terms

Applicants must comply with these Terms⁤ and Conditions ‌when applying for this Project. Applicants ‍may not⁣ apply for this Project unless they agree ⁢to these Terms and Conditions.

If the Applicant is a minor, he/she⁤ must ⁢obtain the consent of a legal ‌guardian such ‍as a parent or guardian before applying for‌ this Project. In addition, if the Applicant is applying for this ⁢Project on behalf of a business, the business⁤ must also ⁢agree to these‌ Terms and Conditions before‍ using the‍ Service.

2. Scope

When applying for this project, in​ addition to these Terms and Conditions,‌ you must also ⁢abide by the ‍”LINE ⁤Manga Indies Guidelines”⁢ and “LINE Manga Terms of Use”.

3. Changes to the⁤ Terms

If the Company deems it necessary, the ​Company ‌may modify these Terms within the scope of⁣ the purpose​ of these Terms. In⁣ such a ⁣case, the Company will⁣ inform‍ the Customer of the contents and effective date ⁢of the modified Terms by⁣ displaying them on⁢ the ⁤Service or on the Company’s website, or by notifying the Customer in a manner specified by ‍the Company.

4. Application Conditions

Applicants may submit a manga that they have written themselves (only completed manuscripts are ⁢accepted; storyboards are⁢ not ‌accepted) as ⁢their entry into ⁢this ⁢Contest⁤ through “LINE Manga Indies.”

Once an Applicant has agreed to these Terms and Conditions, he/she may not cancel his/her⁣ application for this Project.

5. Contents of​ the submitted ⁣work

Submissions to this competition must be manga‌ that the entrant has personally created.

Submissions are ‍prohibited from containing content that violates ‌laws, regulations, or⁤ public order and ⁤morals, libels others,‍ or that the Company deems ‍inappropriate, or that infringes on the ​intellectual property rights ‌of⁣ a third⁢ party.

6. Conditions for payment of rewards

This project will pay rewards to‌ applicants at a later date based on the performance‌ indicators for each submitted work for one month.

An individual may submit any number‌ of works to this Project, however, ​the cash reward will only be paid to the work ‌with the highest total ⁢cash reward⁣ amount in the month ⁤of submission.

7. ⁣Process for award payment

Rewards will be paid via LINE Pay.

Applicants who are eligible for ⁣the ⁤cash⁣ reward will‍ receive ‍an email between the 15th and 20th​ of the month following the month of application, to the email address registered when registering⁤ as an artist, with instructions on how to receive the cash reward.

8. Rights of submitted works

Applicants will‌ retain all intellectual property rights they⁤ may have in their submitted works, and the Company will not acquire any such rights.

9. Privacy

We respect the⁢ privacy of our applicants.

We take the utmost ⁣care regarding information​ security⁣ in order to safely manage the information obtained from​ applicants.

10. Cancellation or change of this project

If ⁣the Company‍ deems it necessary to‍ cancel or suspend the⁢ Promotion due to system maintenance at the Company, failure of communication lines or means of communication, ‌computer, or other reasons, the Company reserves the right‌ to cancel or suspend the Promotion without prior notice to applicants.

11. End⁤ of application ⁣period ​for this project

We may close the acceptance of applications for this project without prior notice to applicants.

12. Prohibited matters

The Company prohibits customers from engaging in the ⁤following acts in relation to the Service:

• Any act violating laws, regulations, court rulings, decisions or orders,⁣ or ‍legally binding administrative‌ measures
• Any act that may‌ be contrary to the public order or good morals
• Any act that infringes the copyrights, trademarks, patents, or other intellectual property‌ rights, reputational rights, privacy rights, or other ⁢legal‌ or contractual rights of ​the Company or any third party.

13. Responsibilities of Applicants

Applicants shall⁤ apply for this Project at their own risk and shall be fully responsible⁤ for all actions taken by the Applicant in⁣ connection with their application for this Project and⁣ the consequences thereof.

14. Disclaimer of Liability

Except in‍ cases where the damage is caused by the Company’s willful misconduct or ​gross negligence, the Company‌ shall not be liable for any damage, whether direct or indirect, suffered by the ‍Applicant as a result of‌ applying ‌for or being unable to apply for this Project.

15. Relationship between‍ these Terms and Laws

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions‍ is found ‍to be in violation​ of the Consumer Contract Act or other laws and regulations applicable to the contract between⁢ you and ‌our company regarding your application for⁤ this project, ⁢such⁢ provision shall not apply to the contract with you to that extent.

Applicants will be contacted regarding their application for this project​ by ⁣a method that‌ the Company deems appropriate, such as email or displaying ⁤the information on the screen of the service ⁣provided by the Company.

17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

The official text⁣ of these terms and ​conditions‌ is in Japanese and the governing law ‌is ⁣Japanese law.
