Bosnia and Herzegovina Men’s Handball Team Prepares for Euro 2026 Qualifiers
The Bosnia and Herzegovina men’s handball team is set to face Iceland tonight at 20:30 in their first qualifying match for the 2026 European Championship.
The team, led by selectors Damir Doborac, has undergone changes in preparation for the match. Ermin Ombaša, the pivot of Sloboda, has joined the team in place of Amir Muhović, while Krivaja guard Elmas Avdić has replaced the injured Luka Knežević. The team will also host the Greek selection on Sunday, November 10.
“We are ready to welcome the Iceland national team in our first qualifying match for Euro 2026,” said the team. “We have prepared well with three training sessions before this match, and we are confident that we will do our best to achieve the best possible result in this game and the upcoming qualifiers.”
