Winter Time in Egypt 2024: Return Dates and Importance of Daylight Saving Time

Many citizens are looking for the return dates of winter time in Egypt 2024 after the activation of Daylight Saving Time last Friday, April 26, 2024. The presentation of the clock was made pursuant to a decision issued by the Cabinet.

The Council of Ministers announced in an earlier statement that the return date for winter time will fall on October 28.

Winter time will be implemented in Egypt and summer time will be abolished next Friday, November 1, 2024, which means we are 59 days away from the activation of winter time and the change of clocks in Egypt.

The Cabinet announced a statement clarifying Daylight Saving Time, stating that winter time is subject to Law No. 24 of 2023, which stipulates the continuation of daylight saving time from the last Friday of April to the last Thursday of October every year.
