Overwatch 2 Launches on Xbox Game Pass with Exclusive Bonuses
Microsoft has announced that Overwatch 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the popular hero shooter, is launching on Xbox Game Pass. The game was originally set to launch as a free-to-play experience in 2023, but with the launch of Game Pass, members will be able to jump into the game with a number of exclusive bonuses.
Overwatch 2 launches on Xbox Game Pass on September 17. To redeem the benefits, all Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Xbox Game Pass for Console, or PC Game Pass members need to do is link their accounts to Xbox Game Pass. Members only need to link their Microsoft account to Battle.net to redeem the benefits.
By linking their accounts before November 11, members will gain access to six exclusive hero skins, including:
- Cardboard Reinhardt
- Turtleship D.Va
- Cyberdragon Hanzo
- Street Runner Genji
- Bee Mercy
- Cleric Lifeweaver

In addition to the hero skins, members will also receive 30 additional Mythic Prisms to upgrade their outfits. Cosmetic items from the previous three seasons are also included in the bonus, and will continue to be updated as more seasons are released in the future.

All Xbox Game Pass holders will also receive a 10% XP boost on their Overwatch 2 account, which stacks with any other active bonuses.

To link your accounts, log in to Battle.net, go to the Account Linking page, and link the correct Microsoft account in the Xbox Network section. Make sure you are using the correct account with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Console, or PC Game Pass.
