Giroud is the ‘old man’ who scores goals for France; France, Belgium, Croatia win – Football Live

Paris: France won their UEFA Nations League match against Austria as Olivier Giroud became the oldest player to score for France. France beat Austria by two goals. Giroud’s goal was 65 minutes into the game.

Giroud, who found the goal eight days before his 36th birthday, surpassed the record held by French player Roger March, who scored a goal against Spain in 1959, with an age difference of 70 days. Kylian Mbappe scored France’s first goal from Giroud’s own pass.

Super star Kevin De Bruyne scored a great goal and Belgium managed to beat Wales by two goals to one. De Bruyne’s goal was in the 10th minute. Michy Batshuayi scored the second goal in the 37th minute. Kiefer Moore scored a consolation goal for Wales in the 50th minute.

In other matches, Croatia beat Denmark (2-1), Holland beat Poland (2-0), Moldova beat Latvia (2-1), Kazakhstan beat Belarus (2-1) and Azerbaijan beat Slovakia (2-1).
