A Korean girl was assaulted by a black girl at a girls’ basketball game in California, USA.
According to ABC7 News, the American media, during the women’s youth basketball game held in Garden Grove, Orange County on the 8th, Lorin Ham (15) was hit by a fist swung by a black student of the opposing team while playing a basketball game. A student, the assailant, attempted a three-point shot, failed and collided with Ham, and suddenly swung her left hand and struck her in the face.
Ham was born in Los Angeles to a Korean father and a Chinese mother, and is said to have complained of concussion symptoms after being assaulted. Ham’s mother was outraged, saying, “This disgusting thing happened to my daughter during a basketball game” when she revealed the assault scene through her social media account.
In an interview with the local media, he said, “I couldn’t watch the game in person because I was taking care of other children, but (in the video) I can clearly hear the mother’s voice. If you do, go and hit me,'” he explained.
He also emphasized, “Something that should never have happened in youth sports has happened. She should be punished,” he said.

Ham’s mother posted a new video on her social media account saying that Miss A had a history of assaulting her at the youth basketball game in September. In the video, when Miss A collided with another student in the box under the goal, she first swung her fists and quarreled.
Regarding this case, Yang’s lawyer said in a statement, “Students and their families are deeply reflecting.”
Meanwhile, it is known that Yang A’s father is former NBA player Corey Benjamin. He had experience playing as a mercenary for the Daegu Orions (currently Goyang Orions) during the 2007-08 season of Korean professional basketball (KBL).
