[골닷컴] Reporter Park Moon-soo = The Australian national team kept the pride of Asian football. In their last match against Denmark, they won 1-0 and secured a dramatic ticket to the round of 16.

Australia won 1-0 against Denmark in the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar Group D Group Stage 3 match held at 0:00am on the 1st at Al-Janube Stadium in Qatar.

With two wins following Tunisia, Australia recorded 6 points and secured a ticket to the round of 16.

Australia came out with a 4-4-2 formation. Duke and McGree matched the top two. Goodwin and Leckie were placed as wings, and Irvin and Mui were placed in midfield. In the back four, Degenek, Suta, Rawls and Beich, Ryan guarded the goal.

Denmark had a 4-3-3 formation. Braithwaite, Olsen and Linström stepped up as a front three, while Eriksen, Jessen and Hojbjerg joined in midfield. In the back four, Christensen and Andersen, Christensen and Mele, and Schmeichel wore goalkeeper’s gloves.
