What is the character of Jana Gana Mana and how did it come to be?
In the film, I played a strong policeman named ACP Sanjay Kumar. A character who goes through a lot of expressions. The director tells me the story of the film for the first time. I was the one who suggested Prithvi. Prithvi immediately liked the story. In two days everything else was fine. But the release was delayed due to Kovid.
The film discusses our system and the problems that ordinary people experience in it. The story of a police officer who is a victim. Actually, Prithviraj and I are heroes. It is a movie with two heroes.
Did you get a ‘driving license’ with Prithviraj? Did it feel like being together again ??
Never. Prithviraj himself was suggested because of that certainty. ‘Driving License’ is a film that tells the story of Ego. The background of this film itself is different. No one felt the same. The truth is that there is no such resemblance.
Is there a special chemistry between Prithviraj and Suraj?
It’s true that we have a great chemistry between us but I won’t say what it is or how. That being said, no one else can come there. Let it be a secret.
Do you choose characters with negative shades? What was the response to the Great Indian Kitchen?
Such characters come about because the directors thought I could do negative shade characters as well. There is a big factor behind being able to do all that. Experiences gained so far. And she has been acting with Malayalam legends for so long. I learned a lot from all of them.
Am I really a negative character in the Great Indian Kitchen? .. Its protagonist is someone we all know. If that character sounds like a villain then you have to say it worked. The film did not receive such a high response.
Difficult to portray comedy characters or serious?
Both have their own difficulty. Acting is not an easy task. Isn’t it a failure if it can’t be put into action, whether it’s comedy or serious?
The Tamil version of Android Kunjappan was released .. Is there an invitation to Tamil?
I could not see the picture. Offers are also available in Tamil. But I like it here. Projects currently undertaken should do well.
