The government has recently apologized for several changes to the guidelines regarding telephone consultations for home care workers with COVID-19.

Lee Ki-il, the first supervisor of the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters, said at a regular briefing, “We are very sorry for the confusion ahead of the introduction of the new home treatment system, and we will make sure that this does not happen in the future.”

He also reconfirmed that “the general management group for home treatment can receive medical examinations more than twice a day.”

The controller said, “If you receive phone consultation and prescription from the same medical institution for corona disease, the medical institution can claim the number once a day, and there is no co-payment for the patient. , at no additional cost to the patient.”

However, he said, “Just because you can see more than twice a day doesn’t mean you can receive treatment indefinitely.” .

The controller added that as an exception, children under the age of 11 can be billed up to twice a day, taking into account that monitoring more than twice a day may be required.
