Governor Arif Muhammad Khan shifts accommodation to Calicut University campus
Thiruvananthapuram: Governor Arif Muhammad Khan has made a last-minute change to his two-day stay, opting to relocate to the Calicut University campus after being informed that he would not be allowed to enter other campuses in the state. Initially, the Governor was scheduled to stay at the Kozhikode guest house on the 16th and 17th of this month.
Upon his return to Thiruvananthapuram on the 18th, the Governor will be attending the Sanatana Dharma Chairman’s program at the university campus. His arrival at Kozhikode Airport from Delhi on the evening of the 16th will be followed by his stay at the University Hotel. Additionally, on the 17th, Kozhikode Muslim League state president, Panakkad Sadikhali Shihab, will be attending his son’s wedding, with the Governor also scheduled to stay at the University Hotel on that night.
The Governor will then return to Thiruvananthapuram after the program at the university campus on the afternoon of the 18th. In response to the challenge posed by SFI, the Governor intervened and decided to move his accommodation to the university campus. The arrival of the Governor will necessitate heavy police security to be arranged on the university campus.
