E-KTAM Registration Now Easier
General Chairperson of the Muhammadiyah Central Leadership (PP), Haedar Nashir, urged all Muhammadiyah members to obtain an Electronic Muhammadiyah Membership Identification card (E-KTAM) as registration has become substantially more accessible. Previously requiring visits to the PP Muhammadiyah Office in Jogja or Jakarta, or Regional Leadership Offices, E-KTAM registration can now be completed through the muhammadiyah MASA Application.
“For those who don’t have a KTAM, take care of it immediately, now it’s easier, including these younger siblings. Just use the application,” Haedar Nashir stated at the E-KTAM launch event held at the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta (UMS) on Saturday, December 13th.
Convenience and Additional Features of the MASA Application
The simplified registration process aims to increase participation in obtaining E-KTAMs, as production can now occur remotely, even from members’ homes. Haedar Nashir clarified that while E-KTAM creation is facilitated online, members are still welcome to visit Muhammadiyah offices for other purposes.
Beyond E-KTAM registration, the MASA Application offers a range of Muhammadiyah-related resources, including access to the Qur’an and a Qibla direction finder. The application also serves as a platform for member contributions and bill payments.
