Hailey Bieber showed her support for Justin Bieber’s return to live music when he made a surprise appearance with SZA at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, on Friday, May 23. Justin joined SZA during Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s Grand National Tour to perform their hit song “Snooze.”
Hailey, 28, shared videos of the performance on her Instagram Story, including moments where Justin kissed SZA’s hand. She referred to Justin Bieber and SZA as her “two favourite artists.” The Grand National Tour has featured several special guests since it’s start on April 19, including Lizzo.
The performance marked Justin Bieber’s first live show since July 2024, when he performed at a private concert in Mumbai, India. Days before the surprise appearance, Hailey celebrated their son Jack Blues’ nine-month milestone on May 22. The couple welcomed Jack in August 2024.
Earlier in May, a source told Us Weekly that Hailey was supporting Justin amid controversies surrounding his finances and encounters with paparazzi. Justin also faced scrutiny for publicly supporting Chris Brown following Brown’s arrest in the U.K.
“Hailey tries to be there for him as much as she can,” an insider, Us Weekly said.
