Haliburton Determined to Play Through injury in NBA Finals Game 6

Indiana Pacers’ star Tyrese Haliburton is battling through a right calf injury as his team faces elimination in the NBA Finals. After a tough Game 5 where he scored only four points,Haliburton is determined to play in Game 6 against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Pacers are down 3-2 in the series, and Haliburton, who averaged 17.7 points per game before MondayS contest, is eager to contribute despite the injury. His presence on the court provides a notable morale boost for Indiana as they fight to extend their season. The Pacers’ playoff hopes hinge on haliburton’s ability to perform, even while injured.
Despite the calf issue that arose in the first quarter of Game 5, Haliburton played 34 minutes. He struggled from the field, going 0-6, but managed to score four points from the free-throw line. He also contributed seven rebounds and six assists.
“If I can walk, then I want to play,” Haliburton said after Monday’s 120-109 loss.
Coach Rick Carlisle acknowledged Haliburton’s injury but expects him to continue playing. The Pacers have two days of rest before Game 6 in Indianapolis. The Pacers previously held a 2-1 series lead but lost their chance to go up 3-1 in Game 4. haliburton emphasized the team’s experiance with adversity and their need to improve for Game 6.
”We’ve had our backs against the wall many different times,” Haliburton said. ”Everybody has to be prepared. It starts with me, and we’ve all got to be better.”
