“Han Dong-hoon, I’ll take care of it” Twitter blackmail… police investigation

An online post was uploaded that suggested terrorism against Justice Minister Han Dong-hoon, and the police launched an investigation.

According to the CBS No Cut News coverage on the 23rd, the police received a number of 112 reports on Twitter the day before threatening a minister and are investigating the matter. The police are known to have identified the author’s whereabouts as Asan, Chungcheongnam-do.

At around 10:30 pm the day before, a post was posted on Twitter saying, “I want to deal with (a minister) for the country. I have also confirmed the address.” This post spread around the online community, and it was found that 112 reports were made mainly by supporters of Han Dong-hoon.

A day later, at around 12:40 pm on the same day, a post on the corresponding Twitter account was posted again saying, “That’s great. Five police officers, including a plainclothes detective, came to the house.”

A police official said, “We have received quite a number of 112 reports related to the article, and it is understood that the competent police station is taking action.”
