Gisli Kristjansson, back on the handball court after a late February foot injury, expressed mixed emotions following the match against Foxes Berlin. Physically it was very good.I have no pain. Everything was well done on the side. But of course I would have liked two points in this game. But defeats are also part of it,
the 25-year-old said.
SC Magdeburg lost to Foxes Berlin with a score of 30-33 (15-17). Kristjansson’s goal brought the score to 30-31 with three minutes remaining, but the home team failed to score again, partly due to Dejan Milosavljev’s performance, allowing the visitors to claim the win.
Following the defeat, Kristjansson said, Today it is very simple: we reject far too many free opportunities and Milosavljev was simply outstanding. We couldn’t help Sergey enough. it is always the same things. They are little things that decide such games. Teams like the foxes play it excellently. In such, everything has to fit.
The team’s coach said, the disappointment is noticeable to all of us. We are all kinked, we imagined something else.
While Foxes Berlin moved to the top of the table, SC Magdeburg remains in sixth place with less than 29-11 points. For us, the table is somehow frustrating all the time,
the coach added.
