The Disciplinary Committee imposed sanctions after fans of Al-Ahly Saudi Club threw 33 cans of water onto the field, injuring 5 of the opposing team’s players.
The penalties included a fine of 220,000 Saudi riyals on behalf of the Saudi Football Federation.

According to the decision of the Disciplinary Committee, the decision of the Disciplinary Committee was as follows:
First: It was proven that Al-Ahly Club fans violated Article (51-2) of the Discipline and Ethics Regulations.
Second: Obligating Al-Ahly Club to pay a fine of (220,000) two hundred and twenty thousand riyals to the account of the Saudi Football Federation.
Third: Obliging Al-Ahly Club to play its next match at home without the presence of the public, with the entire stadium closed.
Fourth: Suspending the penalty mentioned in Clause “Third” for a period of (4) four months starting from the date of notification of this decision.
Fifth: The suspension of the penalty contained in Clause “Fourth” shall be canceled in the event that Al-Ahly Club fans commit any misconduct in violation of Article (51) of the Discipline and Ethics Regulations, and the penalty becomes automatically effective in Al-Ahly Club’s first match on its home soil.
Sixth: A decision subject to appeal in accordance with Article (144) of the Discipline and Ethics Regulations.
