On Monday, the 25th, heat wave warnings will be issued across the country and extreme heat will appear.
In some Gangwonyeongseo, Chungbuk, and Gyeongsang regions, the maximum sensible temperature will be around 33 degrees Celsius, and the special warning will be extended to the whole country as the temperature rises in other regions from the daytime.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the temperature in major areas as of 7 a.m. that day was 23.9 degrees in Seoul, 23.1 degrees in Incheon, 24.5 degrees in Suwon, 23.2 degrees in Chuncheon, 23.3 degrees in Gangneung, 24.8 degrees in Cheongju, 23.9 degrees in Daejeon, 24.3 degrees in Jeonju, 23.9 degrees in Gwangju, and 23.9 degrees in Jeju. 25.6 degrees, Daegu 27.8 degrees, Busan 24.8 degrees, Ulsan 24.4 degrees, Changwon 25.4 degrees, etc.
The highest daytime temperature was predicted to be 27-34 degrees Celsius.
In the southern mountainous areas of Gangwon, northern Chungbuk, and inland of Gyeongsang Province, there may be places with showers due to atmospheric instability during the day. Expected precipitation is 5-40 mm.
The fine dust concentration is expected to show a ‘good’ to ‘normal’ level in all areas due to the smooth air diffusion.
