Heavy setback for New Zealand; Ferguson out

Sharjah: Pace bowler Loki Ferguson has been ruled out of the Twenty20 World Cup in New Zealand. The Kiwis pace bowler suffered an injury.

Captain Kane Williamson has made it clear that Adam Milne has joined the team as a replacement. Williamson made the remarks during the toss of the match against Pakistan. Ferguson’s injury has been confirmed just before the match.

It takes three to four weeks for the injury to heal. In Ferguson’s absence, New Zealand’s bowlers are Tim Southee, Trent Bolt, Ish Sodhi, Mitchell Santouner and James Neesham.
