(Gwangju = Yonhap News) The Korea Meteorological Administration announced that a heavy snow warning would be effective for Muan and Shinan (except Heuksan-myeon) at 11:10pm on the 17th.
A heavy snow warning is issued when more than 20 cm of snow is predicted to accumulate in 24 hours. Be aware of traffic congestion or damage to facilities.
A heavy snowfall warning is in effect in Yeonggwang.
