“Do No Harm” – Concerns from Medical Experts
“This irresponsible and deliberately misleading directive will lead to an increase in hepatitis B infections in infants and children,” declared Susan Kressly, president of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Three members of the Academy also voiced opposition, highlighting the lack of justification for the change. Dr. cody Meissner, a dissenting voice on the committee, warned, “Do no harm is a moral imperative.By changing the wording of this recommendation, we are causing harm,” prior to the vote.
