t-online shows where Vladimir Putin is when he is not in the Kremlin.

The Kremlin in the heart of Moscow is the official seat of government of the Russian President and the historical center of the city.
Here Putin recently announced the internationally unrecognized annexation of four areas of Ukraine after the mock referendums at the end of September. In the Kremlin, the Russian president presents himself as the protector of his people, but it is not his only place of residence in Moscow.

Just outside is the Nowo-Ogaryovo estate, which he chose as his official residence in 2008. According to reports, Putin also has his own large apartment in the capital, and another is rented for him. Within Moscow, the Russian President apparently keeps changing his whereabouts between the Kremlin and the two apartments – for reasons of caution and always guarded by his national guard.

But Vladimir Putin has other residences, according to reports, in Karelia near the Finnish border, on the Crimean peninsula near the city of Yalta, in Kaliningrad and in the Altai Mountains. There is said to be a large-scale underground bunker there, in which the President’s family sought shelter in the meantime. Putin’s villa in the holiday resort of Sochi on the Black Sea is already known. However, experts consider it unlikely that the Russian President was there at the beginning of the war against Ukraine.

However, Western intelligence services suspect that Putin is using an old nuclear bunker in the city of Samara. Josef Stalin had the bunker built during the Second World War, and tourists were able to visit it in the meantime. These photos show the underground structure that Vladimir Putin may have used as a command center in the early weeks of the war.

The currently imprisoned Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny also published a report on Putin’s fortune in 2021 and showed pictures of an imposing residence reminiscent of palaces. The site is said to have its own amphitheater and underground ice hockey rink, as well as a large pool and a tunnel to the beach, as well as a helipad and its own port.

The residence will be located on the Black Sea near the city of Krasnodar and will cover a huge area on the coast. However, Vladimir Putin denies that he owns this palace.

“I haven’t seen the footage simply because I don’t have the time. But I saw a description my assistant brought me. I’d like to answer your question head-on: Nothing listed there as belonging to me belongs to me or my close family. It never has. At no time.”
