Muscat: As part of Oman’s 52nd National Day celebrations, Sultan Haitham bin Twariq granted amnesty to prisoners convicted in various cases. 175 prisoners have been pardoned. 65 of them are foreigners. Last year, the Sultan pardoned 252 prisoners as part of the 51st National Day. 84 of them were foreigners.
