Ibrahim Kutty Speaks Out: Seeking Opportunities on His Own Merits

Actor Ibrahim Kutty Expresses Desire for Opportunities Based on Merit

In a recent interview with Mollywood’s Silly Monks, actor Ibrahim Kutty spoke about his desire to be recognized for his own merits rather than solely being treated as Mammootty’s brother. While he acknowledged the advantages of being affiliated with Mammootty’s name, Ibrahim emphasized the importance of earning opportunities on his own.

“The name Mammootty has opened many doors for us. Whenever we go, it brings us benefits. However, it cannot guarantee a film solely for our benefit. Mammootty and Dulquer can cast Maqbool in as many films as they want, but they cannot be a part of every project. Let’s strive for success through our own hard work,” Ibrahim stated.

An Emotional Response to Films

Ibrahim Kutty also shared his emotional response to certain films, particularly Taniyavartanam, Sagaram Sakshi, and Kirayam. He admitted to not having watched them carefully yet due to the intense sadness portrayed in the scenes.

“I cannot watch movies like Taniyavartanam and Sagaram Sakshi in peace. They evoke terrible tension within me. The same goes for the movie Kirayam because the story may not align with our own beliefs,” Ibrahim explained.

The impactful nature of Sagaram Sakshi was further emphasized by Ibrahim, expressing how it is hard to watch the entire film without feeling overwhelmed by the distressing scenes. “When the crown comes into view, my head bows down. Certain scenes make me feel like moving forward as emotions run high,” he revealed.

Crying during movies is not uncommon for Ibrahim Kutty. He finds it natural to express emotions while watching films, whether it be laughter or tears. “The last time I saw a film, I cried. Movies have the power to evoke emotions, so why suppress them? If I feel like crying, I will,” he confidently stated.

In summary, Ibrahim Kutty’s desire for recognition based on his own abilities and his open emotional response to films depict a heartfelt and genuine perspective on his acting career.

Actor Ibrahim Kutty has been treated as Mammootty’s brother. He said that if Mammootty and Dulquer Salman think that his son and actor Maqbool Salman would get opportunities, but he should get opportunities on his own merits. Ibrahim Kutty was speaking in an interview with Mollywood’s Silly Monks.

‘The name Mammootty does a lot of good. The name of Mammootty’s brother or his brother’s son always does us good wherever we go.

Despite all this, it cannot be said that a film could be made to help them. Mammootty and Dulquer can cast Maqbool in as many films as they want. But they can’t act in every movie they act in. Let’s work hard for ourselves,’ said Ibrahim Kutti.

In an interview, he said that he has not watched Taniyavartanam and Sagaram Sakshi carefully yet and the scenes in the film are very sad.

‘I haven’t seen any films like Taniyavartanam and Sagaram Sakshi in peace. I feel terrible tension when I see him. The same goes for the movie Kirayam. Because the story is not our opinion.

The movie Sagaram Sakshi cannot be watched in its entirety because the entire scenes are disturbing. When you see the crown, your head will bow down. When watching some scenes, I feel like moving forward. It feels that way when the emotion is high.

If I feel like crying while watching movies, I cry. The last time I saw a movie I cried. When we watch movies, we get emotions. If you feel like laughing, what’s wrong with crying? I will cry,’ said Ibrahim Kuti.
