Reports say that Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti’s departure from Real will force many stars to leave the club. Karim Benzema, Toni Kroos and Vinicius Junior are three players who could follow the Italians out of the club, while Lucas Vazquez and Daniel Carvajal also see potential final seasons.
Ancelotti’s fate as Real Madrid manager was in doubt after Barcelona’s 3-1 defeat in the Spanish Super Cup on Sunday (January 15). President Florentino Perez is also likely to look to sack the manager during a trophyless season similar to the 2014-15 campaign.
According to El Nacional, Ancelotti could see the dismissal of a number of people behind him, most of whom are an integral part of the team. Captain Benzema, whose contract expires in 2023, could receive offers from other clubs should Ancelotti be sacked prematurely. Both Cruz and Vinicius respect Ancelotti as a father figure. So, if there is no coach, the players will also go out.
