Suriyakiran, famous Telugu director and child star of Malayalam’s first 3D film My Dear Kuttychatthan passed away. He died of jaundice in a private hospital in Chennai. The actress is Kaveri’s ex-husband.
Suriyakiran was one of the child actors in the popular 3D Malayalam film My Dear Kuttychathan. He first acted in the 1978 film Lakkeman Oru Penna. He has acted in more than 200 films as a child actor. He appeared in films as a child actor under the name Master Suresh. Some of the films he has acted in include Mankamma Sapatham, Kaaladimeenal and Manithan.
The 2003 film is directed by Sathya. He has directed Dhana 51, Brahmastram, Raju Bhai and Chapter 6. Surya Kiran and Kaveri got married in 2010.
After a long break, he returned to direct with the film ‘Arasi’. The sudden death happened while the film was being prepared for release. Suriya Kiran is the brother of actress Suchita.
