In the 2023 season, the Chinese Premier League will resume the home and away system and cancel the requirement for the presence of under-23 players

On February 7, the 2023 Professional League Club Heads Meeting and the Chinese Super League Club Heads Summit, China A, and China B were held at the Xianghe National Team Center. In the 2023 season, the Chinese Premier League will resume the home and away match system, and the requirement for the presence of under-23 players will also be cancelled.

Registration and playing requirements for domestic youth players in leagues at all levels:

Chinese Super League: At least 5 under-21 players are registered, and the club has been registered for more than 4 years (the requirement for under-23 players to always be present has been cancelled).

China League One: At least 5 players under 21 are registered, the club has been registered for more than 4 years, and 1 player under 21 is always present (instead of the requirement of 1 player under 23 always present with 1 under 21 player always present).

Center B (unchanged): at least 5 under 21 players, 5 local players, 1 under 21 always present.
