Indonesia’s leader said Putin confirmed he would attend the G20 summit in Bali, but Zelenski has not confirmed.

Today (29 April 65) Indonesian President Joko Widodo said today Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed his intention to attend the G20 summit to be held in Bali in November. The Russian leader thanked and confirm that they will attend the meeting

In addition, in a telephone conversation last Wednesday Widodo also invited Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to attend the meeting. But President Zelensky has not confirmed whether he will attend the meeting or not.

Ukraine is not a member of the G20, but Indonesia, as chairman of the G20 this year, has the right to invite non-group nations to the summit. Ukrainian finance ministers attended the G20 finance ministers meeting in Washington earlier.

The G20 was formed in 1999 to discuss policies for stabilizing the global financial system. After the “Tom Yam Kung” crisis in 1997, which caused the baht to collapse. and affecting international financial markets

G20 members are Argentina, Australia, Brazil, England, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, Turkey, the United States and the European Union (EU).
