Texas Parents Face Murder Charges in Infant Daughter’s Death

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Jeremy Fancher and Destiny Campos are facing murder charges in connection with the death of their 4-month-old daughter, Brookelynn Fancher. The infant’s body was found in a dresser drawer at a motel on Rancho Mission Drive, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed gonzalez.
Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the motel May 26, 2024, where Fancher and Campos had reportedly been living for over a year.Campos was arrested and booked into the harris County Jail. Fancher was apprehended in Tom Green County.
Marilyn Jennifer Mork, identified as Fancher’s current girlfriend, was also arrested and charged with hindering apprehension in the infant death case.
Gonzalez acknowledged law enforcement’s work via social media, stating the arrests bring justice closer for Brookelynn.The harris County Sheriff’s office investigation into the infant death is ongoing.
