Instagram’s functions are increasingly richer: in the past, users could only add “voting” stickers to limited-time updates to allow fans to vote to express their thoughts, recently IG also added this “voting activity” per post and Reels short videos. The new feature allows fans to vote in the comments of IG posts or in the comments of IG Reels. After voting, they can still see the voting results, which increases opportunities for interaction. However, it should be noted that once voting activity is established in a post or short video. After that, you can no longer change the voting options, but you can delete the entire poll.
Step 1: The first step is to open the Instagram app, create a new IG post and upload a photo, then click the “Write a description or add a vote activity” field, enter the post content and click “Voting Activities.”
Step 2: Enter the IG voting options you want fans to choose. You can set up to 4 items and click “OK” once completed.
Step 3: Click “Share” to publish the post.
Step 4: When other Instagram users see your post, they will see the “Vote” option under the post content.
Step 5: Click “Vote” to display the voting options in the IG message area.
Step 6: After voting, fans can immediately see the results of the current vote.
Step 7: If you later want to delete the entire voting activity and never see it again, you can click “⋯” in the top right corner of the post.
Step 8: Select “Edit.”
Step 9: Then click “Delete” under the voting task and click “Finish”.
Step 10: Now, the system will display the deletion confirmation window again. After pressing “Delete”, the voting activity for the IG post will be successfully deleted.
