Ozeid sells one “intime Pro-M” earphone under the intime brand that plays LR and LR channels from one house. The price on Amazon is 10,120 yen.
These earphones were jointly developed by the company and Marimo Records, and the casing of the earphones, which normally have left and right earphones, is now only on one side, increasing the degree of freedom on set. Since both LR channels can be played using only one side of the earphone, “you can gather more information from the earphone while checking the sound of the scene with one ear.”
The driver is a hybrid configuration using Orzeid’s proprietary 3rd generation piezoelectric ceramic tweeter “VST” (Vertical Support Tweeter) and a 10mm diameter high performance electromagnetic speaker mounted on the same axis. This unit is housed in a hard duralumin housing.
An electromagnetic speaker plays low frequencies, and a piezoelectric ceramic tweeter plays high frequencies. Piezoelectric ceramic tweeters have a large number of harmonics compared to conventional electromagnetic speakers, and by tuning focused on these overtones and the sound, it is possible to achieve clear sound reproduction. “From the beginning, it contributes greatly to the ability to distinguish between different people’s voices.”
The playback frequency band is 20Hz to 45kHz, and the sensitivity is 108dB/mW.
The included cable is a special specification that allows you to listen to left and right audio with one ear. The connector uses a Pentaconn ear, which allows replacement in case of disconnection or change of cable length. The length of the included cable is 1.3m, and the plug is a mini stereo 3.5mm L-shaped. Weight including cable and earpiece is 14.6 ± 0.2g. A new cable with a length of 40cm is also available as an option.
