[디지털투데이 AI리포터] Sony Thermotechnology, a subsidiary of Sony, launched on the 23rd (local time) REON POCKET 5, a wearable air conditioner that uses Peltier elements.
This product has the function of cooling or heating the body surface. The thermal module has been enlarged and a heat dissipation fan has been installed to increase cooling efficiency and reduce operating noise.
The airflow parts that prevent heat buildup in clothing when worn have also been improved. It is available in two versions: a business version with the exhaust outlet that reaches the height of the shirt collar, and a short casual version.
The REON POCKET TAG sensor, sold separately, measures the surrounding temperature and humidity and controls the main body. Sony Thermo Technology is a company created through Sony’s internal startup development program.
