Irish Fans Target England Duo in European Nations League

Irish fans targeted England pair Declan Rice and Jack Grealish during the two teams’ match in the European Nations League on Saturday.

The two players previously represented the Irish national team, and today they were booed at the Aviva Stadium.

One fan held up a banner with a photo of Rice and Grealish, with the caption “The Snakes are back.”

Rice opened the scoring for England in the 11th minute, but did not celebrate.

Rice played three matches with the Irish national team before representing the England national team, where he became a key component of the team’s midfield and became one of the best players in his position on the European continent.

Grealish played with Ireland’s junior national team before representing the England national team.

These two players were born in England, but were eligible to represent the Irish national team.
