Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel announced the promise that Israel will be victorious. after the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that they had shot down nearly 300 Iranian drones and missiles. Amidst the situation of tensions in the Middle East which is increasing.
The Iranian attack came after Israeli planes bombed the Iranian consulate in Damascus. The capital of Syria on April 1, 11 people were killed, including a senior general in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard. Iran announced that it would retaliate against Israel’s actions. and launched his first direct attack on Israel.
Netanyahu posted on X that “We block, we repel and together we will win.” It has shot down more than 99% of Iran’s drones and missiles and is discussing ongoing measures.
Israel’s Channel 12 quoted an unnamed Israeli official as saying: There will be a significant response to such attacks.
IDF spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said Iran’s actions were very serious. and will push the region towards violence. Iran has fired dozens of land-based missiles. and more than 10 cruise missiles, but the majority were intercepted outside Israel’s borders. It caused only minor damage to one military facility.
