Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo returned to Old Trafford during last summer’s transfer. But not only has the star not been able to play in his old form, Ronaldo has caused most of United’s problems in recent seasons. His recent behavior on and off the pitch has raised concerns about the star’s future at United.

Former Manchester United star and football commentator Gary Neville has been the most vocal about the club’s recent decline. The player has been very critical of United for suffering miserable defeats on several occasions this season. Neville has previously said that keeping Ronaldo would lead to the club’s decline and that he should be removed from United as soon as possible.

But Gary Neville now says Cristiano Ronaldo will stay at United and no other clubs will come forward to buy him. Neville added that Ronaldo tried to leave the club, but clubs such as Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Atletico Madrid refused to accept him.

“I think Ronaldo will end his career like anyone else. It will be from United. It will stay here without being bought by anyone. Even then, he won’t get any chance to play again. His time has passed. I understand that Ronaldo himself realized that. “He realizes his limitations and pulls himself together,” said Gary Neville.

Meanwhile, Neville did not forget to praise Manchester United coach Erik deg Haag. He added that keeping Ronaldo on the bench was a wise decision and that the coach had a clear understanding of the seriousness of the game.
