On the 25th, the first day of work after the Lunar New Year holiday, posts certifying the office temperature are pouring into social media. Office workers who have to work in an office that has become icy due to a record-breaking cold wave are sarcastic about the reality.

On the 25th, social media is flooded with texts confirming the temperature displayed on the air conditioner in the office. They were all posted on the same day, and the temperatures in the attached photos show 19 degrees, 0 degrees, and -6.9 degrees in the video. In some cases, it is even marked as immeasurable.

One certified writer complained, “I went to work after a while and the temperature in the office is 11 degrees, so I can’t take my padding off yet.” I’m dying, but this is abuse of office workers.”

It is assumed that the cause was that the temperature in the office had dropped due to a cold wave that day, and that heating equipment was being operated passively due to the recent skyrocketing heating bill. One netizen said, “The CEO ordered me to keep the office temperature below 23 degrees, saying the management fee was bombed.”

Meanwhile, according to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the temperature will rise from this afternoon and recover to normal levels tomorrow, but it is predicted to become cold again on the 27th.
