Dharamshala – England pacer James Anderson has achieved 700 wickets in Test cricket. Anderson achieved the historic feat by dismissing Indian opener Kuldeep Yadav in the first innings of the fifth Test. Anderson is the first fast bowler to take 700 wickets. Earlier, spinners Muttiah Muralitharan and Shane Warne have taken 700 wickets.

India were bowled out for 477 runs in the first innings. India took a lead of 259 runs. At the end of the second day, India were 473 runs for the loss of eight wickets in the first innings. But while scoring four runs on the third day of the match, India lost the remaining two wickets.

Captain Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill scored centuries for India. After winning the toss, England were bowled out for 218 runs in the first innings. Kuldeep Yadav took five wickets for India. R. is playing the 100th Test in his career. Ashwin took four wickets. Ravindra Jadeja has one wicket left. Opener Zach Crowley scored a half century. Crowley faced 108 balls and was out for 79 runs.
