Indiana Pacers forward ‌Jarace Walker will be ⁣sidelined for ⁢at least the first two games of ‌the NBA Finals due to a right ankle injury. Coach Rick Carlisle announced ⁣the news Monday on 107.5 The Fan.

Carlisle​ stated that WalkerS absence will extend “for a while,” though he did not specify the injury’s severity. Walker ⁢was seen on crutches as of ⁤Sunday.

The⁤ injury occurred‍ early in the fourth quarter ⁤of Game ‍6 against the New York Knicks. Walker’s leg appeared to‌ bend ‌awkwardly while defending a drive, forcing him to leave the​ game with assistance from trainers.
