Jayaram is one of the most popular actors of Malayalees. Although Jayaram was one of the favorite actors of the family audience, the actor stayed away from Malayalam for five years. After a gap of five years, Jayaram Sathyan acted daughter Anthikad in 2022. In an interview with Malayalam Manorama, he said that Makal is one of his favorite films with Sathyan Anthikkad.
The actor answers the question that Sathyan Anthikad will create a good film when Jayaram faces a crisis. ‘Makal is the only Malayalam film in five years. This is one of my favorite movies with him. He maintains such a close relationship with him,’ says Jayaram.
‘Many films were made in other languages. Tamil has had many opportunities since time immemorial. Movies came in Telugu and Kannada. Malayalam cinema is my home. There I was convinced that I would get another offer, and that it would be welcomed with open arms by the audience that loved me, no matter how late. That’s why I deliberately took a break,’ says Jayaram.
Abraham is the latest film directed by Mithun Manuel Thomas starring Jayaram. Mammootty also appears in a cameo role in Abraham Osler. Apart from Jayaram, the film also stars Anaswara Rajan, Arjun Ashokan and Saiju Kurup. Irshad M. Produced by Hasan and Mithun Manuel Thomas, the film is written by Dr. Randhir is Krishnan. Shejeer P. Newcomers like Basheer, Joseph Mathew, Siva Hariharan, Shivraj and Adam Sabic are also part of the film. Released on January 11, the film is still showing in theaters with audience response.
