Fukuhara Ai said that she was sorry that her personal incident caused trouble to all walks of life. She has reached a reconciliation with Jiang Hongjie and will take care of her family together in the future. She hopes that the public will give her warm support. Lawyers from both sides held a press conference at the Japan Foreign Correspondents Association this afternoon. Fukuhara Ai issued a simple statement before the meeting and then left.
Ai Fukuhara said that she apologized for the trouble caused by this personal incident. She and Jiang Hongjie have reached a reconciliation and will work together to take care of their families in the future. She hopes that the public can give them warm support.
