On September 27, at the construction site of the professional football field project of Jinan Yellow River Sports Center, the hoisting construction of the roof steel structure trusses was progressing smoothly, and the hoisting of the inner ring trusses was currently halfway through. This is the world’s first steel-cable-membrane hybrid space structure building with the largest cantilevered steel roof and the largest single-layer PTFE coating. It is the project with the longest cantilever length of a domestic sports venue. The maximum overhang length reaches 45 meters. The total cantilever length reaches 45 meters. The steel volume is about 31,000 tons, and it is supported by 36 columns, forming a huge column-free cantilevered space. The entire roof steel structure is divided into 88 trusses for lifting in sections. Each truss is assembled on site, and the construction period is as long as 4 months.

The Jinan Yellow River Sports Center professional football field project is located in the starting area for the conversion of old and new kinetic energy in Jinan. It has a construction area of 197,300 square meters. It is the first 60,000-seat professional football field in Shandong Province and can host major international and domestic sports events.
