Jisoo, a member of the globally renowned K-pop group BLACKPINK, has chosen Singapore as the stunning backdrop for the music video of her debut solo single, “Your Love,” released on February 14th as part of her Shock mini album.The video is a collaborative effort between Jisoo’s agency, Blissoo, local dance talent agencies Republic Hours (handling operations and logistics), and the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), highlighting the nation’s unique landscapes and attractions.

The collaboration aims to attract K-Pop fans and tourists to Singapore by showcasing its natural beauty and immersive experiences. Serene Tan, Director of North Asia at STB, emphasized the intention to ”display Singapore’s unique landscapes and attractions, such as lush greenness and immersive wildlife experiences in Mandai Nature reserve, our main partners in this project.”
Tan further stated, “Jisoo’s emotional appearance will turn on the natural beauty of Singapore, and we hope that his global influence will inspire more K-Pop visitors and fans to find and enjoy the unforgettable experience offered by our destination.” This strategic partnership leverages Jisoo’s immense global influence to position Singapore as a desirable travel destination.
Mandai Nature Reserve Takes Center Stage
The “Your Love” music video prominently features the Mandai Nature Reserve, offering a glimpse into a side of Singapore frequently enough unseen by international audiences. Jean Choi, Head of Sales and Marketing at Mandai Wildlife Group, explained, “This is a creative way to showcase the Mandai Nature Reserve and reveal the singapore side that may not be many people suspect. This region offers a stunning and memorable visual experience that will resonate with Korean tourists, who appreciate the curated and instagramable places with emotional storytelling.”
Specifically, the video showcases the newly opened Rainforest Wild asia, including its intricate cave system unveiled in March.Viewers can also spot the Cavern Restaurant, a spacious, air-conditioned dining area with seating for 150, and glimpses of the reserve’s diverse animal inhabitants, including Langur monkeys and Jalak Bali birds. The inclusion of these elements aims to appeal to tourists seeking unique and visually captivating experiences.
Singapore as a K-Pop Music video hotspot
Jisoo isn’t the only K-pop star recognizing Singapore’s potential as a filming location. In May, BTS member Jin released the music video for his single, “Don’t Say You Love Me,” also filmed in singapore.
