Lucknow: AICC General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi’s rally in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s constituency demanding justice in the Lakhimpur Kheri farmers’ murder case. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Bagel is also with Priyanka at the rally in Varanasi. The ‘Kisan Nyay’ rally will be attended by people from different parts of the state.
Addressing the rally, Priyanka released a scathing critique of Modi. “Last year, Modi bought two aircraft worth Rs 16,000 crore for his own use,” he said. He sold Air India to his billionaire friends for Rs 18,000 crore.

He called the protesting farmers extremists. UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath called them thugs and tried to intimidate them. Another minister (Ajay Mishra) said that farmers will be kept on the line .’- Priyanka said.
The Congress also demanded the removal of Union Minister Ajay Mishra and the repeal of controversial agricultural laws. Alleging that UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was protecting the culprit, Priyanka said there was no hope that the relatives of the victims in Lakhimpur would get justice.
It is unheard of in any country for the police to invite a murderer to have a conversation. Priyanka alleged that the Prime Minister has time to travel all over the world but cannot meet the farmers of the country and listen to their problems.
