Kate Jackson, best known for her role as Sabrina Duncan on the television series “Charlie’s Angels,” has been living a private life on her 128-acre farm in Virginia for the past two decades, away from the Hollywood spotlight.
In a recent interview with People magazine, Jackson described her life on the farm, saying she enjoys the quiet and peaceful surroundings, and mentioned having chickens and a couple of horses on the property, which is mostly wooded.
She stated, “I love being in Virginia, and I really enjoy the farm. I’ve got chickens, a couple of horses. Most of it’s woods, but it’s 128 acres and it’s beautiful and it’s quiet and peaceful.”
Jackson, who rose to fame in the 1970s, also gained acclaim for her performances in “The Rookies” and “Scarecrow and Mrs. King” before stepping back from public life two decades ago.
Although she has been out of the spotlight for years, Jackson revealed she is currently in California exploring opportunities in the entertainment industry, expressing interest in either acting or directing.
She shared that directing has been a rewarding experience, saying, “Directing was really fun. I’m pretty darn good at it.”
Jackson reflected on her decision to leave Hollywood, noting that she always had a sense she might return to creative work one day, stating, “I guess somewhere in the back of my head, I always knew one day I was going to say, ‘I think I’d like to do that again.’ Creative people need to be creative.”
