THiruvananthapuram : In Kerala (Kerala) 7167 people today Kovid-19 (Covid 19) Confirmed. The worst affected districts are Ernakulam 1046, Thiruvananthapuram 878, Thrissur 753, Kozhikode 742, Kollam 592, Idukki 550, Kottayam 506, Pathanamthitta 447, Palakkad 339, Malappuram 334, Kannur 304, Alappuzha 270, Wayanad 269 and Kasaragod 137.
65,158 samples were tested during the last 24 hours. Weekly Infection Population Ratio (WIPR) There are 115 wards in 77 local bodies above 10. There will be strict control here. There are currently 2,72,248 people under surveillance in various districts of the state. Of these, 2,64,972 are under home / institutional quarantine and 7,276 in hospitals.

A total of 515 people were newly admitted to the hospital. Currently, out of 79,185 Kovid cases, only 8 per cent are admitted to hospitals / field hospitals. Today, it has been confirmed that 14 deaths in the last few days are due to Kovid-19. In addition, there have been 7 deaths reported on appeal under the Supreme Court’s new guidelines and 146 deaths up to June 18 last year which were not confirmed due to lack of adequate documentation. This brings the total death toll in the state to 31,681.

Today, 25 of those diagnosed with the disease are from outside the state. 6879 people were infected through contact. Contact source for 221 is not clear. The disease affected 42 health workers.

A total of 6439 patients who were diagnosed and treated were cured. Thiruvananthapuram 754, Kollam 848, Pathanamthitta 406, Alappuzha 455, Kottayam 155, Idukki 195, Ernakulam 918, Thrissur 38, Palakkad 423, Malappuram 560, Kozhikode 760, Wayanad 329, Kannur 451 and Kasaragod 147 were cured. With this, 79,185 people have been diagnosed with the disease and are still undergoing treatment. 48,57,181 have so far been freed from Kovid.
