Kerala NCP Unit Remains Loyal to LDF, Slams Ajit Pawar’s Power Play

Kerala NCP Will Not Support BJP, Will Remain in LDF: Forest Minister AK Sashindran

Kochi, Kerala:

In a significant declaration, Forest Minister AK Sashindran stated that the Kerala unit of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) will not lend its support to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The NCP, he further added, will continue to stand firmly with the Left Democratic Front (LDF).

Sashindran’s statement came amidst speculation surrounding the NCP’s position after the controversial move by Ajit Pawar in Maharashtra. Known for his association with power politics, Pawar’s decision to align with the BJP has raised eyebrows and drawn criticism from within his own party.

Clarifying the stand of the Kerala NCP, Sashindran emphasized that the disagreement is solely related to the recent political developments in Maharashtra and does not change the party’s commitment to the LDF in Kerala. Furthermore, he accused Ajit Pawar of betraying the policies of the NCP through his actions.

The NCP’s uncompromising stance against the BJP reflects the party’s loyalty to its alliance partners in Kerala and represents a strong message from Sashindran and his colleagues that their commitment to the principles and ideology of the LDF remains unwavering.

Kochi: Kerala NCP unit will not support BJP and will remain LDF, Forest Minister AK Sashindran said. Ajit Pawar is a symbol of power politics. He has previously discussed working with the BJP. The division is only on the Maharashtra component. Saseendron also said that Ajit Pawar has betrayed the policies of the party.
