Suspicions of Technological Cooperation
Recently, suspicions were raised about Russia’s technological cooperation as North Korea’s ’suicide drone’ was revealed to resemble a Russian drone, and there are suspicions that Shoigu’s visit to North Korea was also related to technology transfer.
It is reported that Russia also transferred reconnaissance satellite technology and solid-fuel ICBM technology to North Korea.
Shoigu’s Visit to North Korea
Secretary Shoigu’s visit to North Korea is the first in 1 year and 2 months since July of last year. At the time, he was the Minister of Defense and visited Pyongyang to attend the 70th anniversary of Victory Day parade (the 70th anniversary of the Korean War Armistice Agreement) and held talks with Chairman Kim.
