Kiwis embarrassed by Lancach’s Tandavam; Much worse than the poor record of 32 years ago!

The final match of the New Zealand-Sri Lanka Two Test series is underway. Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat in the match at the Galle Stadium. In the first innings, the Lancach Lions declared a huge score of 602/5.

But the Kiwis were bowled out for just 88 runs in the first innings. With this, a bad record fell on the head of New Zealand. This is the worst total by the Kiwis against Sri Lanka in a Test match.

Kamindu Mendis, Dinesh Chandimal and Kushal Mendis scored centuries for Sri Lanka in the first innings. Mendis scored an unbeaten 116 off 250 balls. The player scored 16 fours and four sixes.
