The final match of the New Zealand-Sri Lanka Two Test series is underway. Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat in the match at the Galle Stadium. In the first innings, the Lancach Lions declared a huge score of 602/5.

But the Kiwis were bowled out for just 88 runs in the first innings. With this, a bad record fell on the head of New Zealand. This is the worst total by the Kiwis against Sri Lanka in a Test match.

Prabhat Jayasuriya, who took six wickets in the Lankan bowling, crushed the Kiwis with a brilliant performance. The player took six wickets in 18 overs, conceding 42 runs including six maidens. Apart from the star, Nishan Peiris took three wickets and Asita Fernando took one wicket. Mitchell Santner scored 29 runs off 51 balls for the Kiwis only to get a higher score.

Currently, the Kiwis scored 121 runs for the loss of five wickets in the subsequent game in the second innings.

Kamindu Mendis, Dinesh Chandimal and Kushal Mendis scored centuries for Sri Lanka in the first innings. Mendis scored an unbeaten 116 off 250 balls. The player scored 16 fours and four sixes.

Dinesh scored 116 runs off 208 balls and Kushal scored 106 runs off 149 balls. Angelo Mathews scored 88 runs, Dimuth Karunaratne scored 46 runs and captain Dhananjaya de Silva scored 44 runs. Glenn Phillips took three wickets and skipper Tim Southee took one to bowl the Kiwis.
