Despite opposition from the labor union, Kang Seok-hoon, chairman of Korea Development Bank, went to work at the head office in Yeouido, Seoul to hold the inauguration ceremony.

According to the financial industry on the 21st, Chairman Kang went to work at the main office in Yeouido around 9 am on the same day, held an inauguration ceremony and started working in earnest. It has been two weeks since Saneun was appointed as chairman on the 7th.

In his inaugural address, Chairman Kang emphasized the importance of a new paradigm, ▲ stepping stone for innovative growth ▲ Korea’s representative think tank for economic and security response ▲ global KDB expanding to the world ▲ leading institution for green/digital/bio conversion ▲ role as a market stabilizer The back was presented as the future image of Saneun.

After the inauguration ceremony, an emergency executive meeting was convened and the first business order was to prepare a response plan for an emergency economic situation. In addition, through a message to employees as if conscious of the opposition from the union, he also hinted at a plan to form a communication committee in which labor and management participate together on pending issues such as ‘relocation of the head office’.

On the other hand, it was reported that there was no physical conflict with the union while Chairman Kang went to the main office that day. In the meantime, the union of the industrial bank has blocked Chairman Kang from going to the main office, demanding the withdrawal of the plan to relocate to Busan.
